Reverse Circulation (R/C) Drilling Services
Reverse Circulation R/C Drilling Services
KP Exploration operates a fleet of rigs dedicated to reverse circulation (R/C) drilling across the Western United States. Our teams have recently executed in-fill drilling programs for copper mines and conducted R/C sampling for lithium exploration in south-central Nevada, demonstrating both precision and adaptability in diverse geological settings.
Our R/C rigs are primarily truck-mounted and equipped with wet splitters, dual wall drill pipes, and industry-standard tooling to deliver high-quality samples efficiently. Designed for versatility, these rigs can also perform specialized applications beyond exploration, including:
Mine service holes
Dewatering wells
Water supply and monitoring wells
Injection and extraction wells for in-situ operations
By combining modern R/C technology with experienced crews, KP Exploration ensures accurate sampling, optimized drilling rates, and safe, productive operations across all exploration projects
Infill & Exploration Drilling
Whether you’re a large international mining operator or managing a local exploration project, KP Exploration crews bring extensive experience in reverse circulation (R/C) drilling across a variety of minerals and site conditions. Our teams have the skills and knowledge necessary to efficiently execute exploration programs of virtually any size or complexity.
Our R/C rigs are newer-model Versadrill Canada units equipped with rotary wet splitters, designed to deliver clean, representative samples for resource definition and exploration analysis. Our crews are highly experienced in standard R/C sampling techniques and also specialize in:
Borehole water quality sampling, including Lithium brine monitoring
Installation of injection and extraction wells for in-situ operations
Dewatering well drilling and service
By combining modern, reliable rigs with skilled crews, KP Exploration ensures accurate sample recovery, safe operations, and efficient drilling for all types of exploration and mine-support projects.
