For deeper or more technically demanding deposits, including projects within the Carlin Trend and other advanced exploration targets, KP Exploration also operates the Boart Longyear LF300 equipped with the Freedom™ Loader hands-free rod handling system. KP Exploration has recent experience supporting mineral exploration programs throughout Nevada, including both gold exploration projects in northern Nevada and critical mineral development (lithium) initiatives in other active regions of the state.
Some of our most recent projects include RC drilling programs supporting exploration companies in Lithium Brine deposits. We’ve also recently conducted RC drilling Campaigns for established mining clients in precious metals.

We operate a fleet of track-mounted surface drilling rigs, including Versadrill Canada KMN1.4 units and the Boart Longyear LF™300 (2026), purpose-built for high-performance core drilling across diverse mineral targets. These rigs are designed to handle NQ, HQ, and PQ (HWT) wireline coring, with depth capabilities of up to 4,600 feet (NQ) on KMN1.4 units.
The Boart Longyear LF™300 represents next-generation drilling technology and is one of the most advanced and safest core drilling systems available. Equipped with the Freedom™ Loader hands-free rod handling system, advanced safety controls, and remote operation features, the LF™300 significantly improves operational efficiency while reducing driller exposure during rod handling. The LF™300 is capable of drilling to depths ofup to 10,040 feet in NQ configuration,enabling deeper and more technically demanding exploration programs while maintaining exceptional core recovery and safety performance.
