Surface R/C Drillers
KP Exploration maintains several rigs devoted to R/C drilling throughout the Western US. We’ve recently performed infill programs for a copper mine customer and used R/C techniques to collect Lithium samples for a south central Nevada exploration customer. We use a wet splitter with primarily truck mounted rigs. They are equipped with standard dual wall pipe and other drilling tools. These rigs are versatile though and we can also drill via several other methods for unusual applications such as dewatering, mine service holes, or injection/ extraction wells for in-situ operations.
Infill & Exploration Drilling
Whether you’re a large international mining conglomerate or have a local exploration play, our crews are experienced in exploration work of various types and likely have the skills necessary to execute your project.
Our R/C Rigs are newer model versadrill rigs that are equipped with a rotary wet splitter. Our R/C drilling crews are experienced with typical sampling methods. This crew is also skilled in water quality sampling from within the borehole for Lithium Brine sampling or water quality monitoring concerns.
They also have experience installing injection/ extraction wells for In-Situ applications as well as dewatering wells.
