New Equipment
Investing in new equipment to maximize our uptime was an easy decision. Our smaller diamond core rigs are track mounted rigs capable of up to 4600 feet depths. They are Versadrill Canada rigs, model Kmn1.4S. Our larger core rigs have much deeper depths depending upon the application.
For those familiar with other similar diamond core rigs, our smaller core rigs have slightly more power than a similarly equipped LF-90.
We continue to add more depth to our fleet as we expand our service offerings. If you have a project that is not represented within the capability shown above, please let us know as we may have access to additional equipment not shown above.

Experienced Staff
Our exploration leadership team has an average of 21 years drilling experience between them. Our staff have experience with Fly In operations, triple tube, coring (NQ, HQ, PQ), oriented core, split tube core, and the installation of piezometers.
We’ve been successful at attracting and retaining talented rig operators to staff our rigs 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.
This allows the confidence to know you’re getting the best value and highly experienced staff for your project.
We understand that core recovery is key and do everything in our power to ensure a high recovery rate.

The staff at KP Exploration come from a long line of Diamond Core drillers. You could say its in our blood. We’ve also been successful at attracting and retaining skilled rig operators to offer the best, brightest, and most accomplished drillers to our customers. Our 3 drilling leads have 65 years experience between them.
We operate several Versadrill Canada track mounted KmN1.4s surface rigs to perform core drilling for various metals. These rigs are capable of NQ, HQ, & PQ (HWT) size wireline coring. Depth capability of up to 4600 feet (NQ) for these rigs. Our larger rigs are capable of deeper depths depending upon the circumstances.
We’ve been successful at attracting and retaining experienced drillers. We can staff most projects on a 24 hour basis.
